The Tuna Bunny (coming soon in spring)

The Tuna Bunny is my interpretation of the performance fish.  Still very much so like a shortboard in plan shape, except this board packs the foam in a short wide package.  The rocker on this board is relatively flat with a little bit of nose rocker in there and a little bit of flip in the tail.  The concaves read belly in the nose, to a deep single, very deep double, to a heavy vee off the tail.  This creates two lower flatter rockers between the fins for drive, and controlled speed, but also allows the board to go rail to rail easier with all of that width.  It also creates a lot of rocker curve down the rail line for carving.   On the performance end, this board exelerates very quickly and holds drive and speed through turns on rail in small waves to average waves.  Expect to be able to do snaps, wraps and airs when the waves just aren't quite producing.  OR choose to glide through waves and make sections you didn't expect to make, and just cruise at high speed with lots of flow and speed.  Ride this board A. as a performance short board in crap waves, or average waves that just don't have the juice your shortboard chip needs.  Or just cruise and have fun on it : )  5 fin option on this one, recommended with large fins due to the surface area of the tail.  Ride with large fronts and medium - small trailers as a quad for that twin fin rapid speed feel with drive and control, or ride and a tri for average waves and total control performance surfing with larges front and rear.  AM2 5 fin package seamed to be the winner of the fin battle.

This one is 5-4 x 19 3/8 x 2 3/8 at 28 liters.  This has been my go to board for the slower days since its conception.  Dane has also been riding this exact board as a tri in less powerful waves where he still wants to rip.
